About Us

Locomatix was founded by Jignesh Patel and Karthik Ramsasmy, PhDs from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Both were building parallel and distributed data processing technologies that enable cloud computing today well before “cloud computing” became a hot buzzword. So we love this new cloud thing! Its a very familiar territory.

Locomatix is funded by Angels and by the National Science Foundation.
